Professional Race Timing

 

Race Pro Time has a full compliment of experienced sports event timekeepers and race managers. Whether you need timing of your local club event or full management of an international event (or more likely somewhere in between) we have the skills and knowledge to provide the services you need.

Race Pro Time specialise in race timing, using state of the art TAG Heuer and other proven equipment. We have been accurately timing events of various different types since 1985!

We have timed National Championships and National Series races for both British Cycling and Cycling Ireland. We have even brought split second timing to the annual Torbay Pedal Car Grand Prix, no argument about who won that anymore! And for the last two years we have given our services fee to the Rowcroft Sea Swim in Teignmouth.

Race Pro Time is run by sports enthusiasts, who love nothing more than being out in the field, involved with an event. Amongst our team we have  skiers, snow boarders, cyclists, rally drivers and navigators and experienced runners and horse riders! So what ever your sport we can time it!

 We can supply the level of service you require from simple printed results through to, LED score boards and 42" Plasma screens and even; given a good mobile phone signal or internet connection, live timing on your website! We can offer pre race services like entry processing, including online entry. Our service is very flexible and to keep costs down, we can run with just two staff at most events, with you supplying volunteers to help. Or alternatively for bigger events we can supply all the staff and add in extras like split timing, speed traps and even man registration for you!

Race Pro Time can be contracted to time entire series and administer championships and calculate all series points via our powerful Vola/TAG software. We already do this right up to National Championship level for some sports federations.

 

 

 

NEW FOR 2010 will be our Chip timing system ideally suited to mass start races of all descriptions. Running, Cycling, Karting etc etc

 

With our new system, we time your event with a DAG (electronic chip) pasted or attached to the athlete’s bib number and detected by an overhead antenna gate measuring from 7.5 ft wide up to 26.2 ft wide. The gate antenna is linked to a long range reader which, depending on the size of your race can be a simple reader or more usually linked to our PC, and a black box, a complete and autonomous system which stores the data and synchronizes the readers.

 

When the participants pass under the gate, they are automatically detected by the system and their time and bib number are sent to the PC  and stored in the black box. The PC calculates all the results, category results and this is displayed via monitors and print outs.

 

 

 

As well as Sports Timing we can supply hire equipment to event organisers. We have a large stock of Gazebos for sale or rent. We have PA systems, finish gantry, winners podium. Plus much much more.

We also offer a design and print service for event documentation, from entry forms to banners to flags!

We can also supply and print number boards for all sports in various materials from paper through Tyvec to plastic.
